Staffordshire Freemasons have made a series of donations to six local hospices
Staffordshire have sent £1,000 to each of the following:
- St Giles’ Hospice, Whittington
- St Giles Hospice, Walsall
- Katherine House Hospice
- Douglas Macmillan Hospice
- The Donna Louise Hospice
- Acorns Children’s Hospice, Walsall
These six hospices do incredible work which is often recognised by individual Lodges. This work however, requires a large amount of money and, like all charities at the moment, income has reduced significantly. This means that there is a greater need for urgent charitable giving, and the Province of Staffordshire is happy to do its part.
This brings the total donated by the Province in the last three weeks to £16,200 but work has only just started.
The executives of Craft, Royal Arch, the Mark degree (including RAM), Knights Templar, and Rose Croix continue to work together to identify good causes and to make donations wherever possible. This joined-up approach will ensure best use is made of funds.
