St Michael's Lodge No. 8186 in the province of devonshire remember the Fallen
The annual Remembrance service on the seafront at Teignmouth was cancelled this year due to Covid 19 but that didn't stop many people laying their wreaths at the War Memorial. A short service did take place attended by various dignitaries and VIPs all of course socially distanced.
The occasion was marked also by the sounding of the horns of the eight cruise liners which are currently moored in the bay. They are the Queen Mary 2, Azura, Ventura, Arcadia, Emerald Express, Westerndam, Zaandam, Valendam. Not all were visible mainly due to the low visability, but those who were made a glorious backdrop to the proceedings.
After the main ceremony, Devonshire Freemasons Geoff Edis and Clive Eden attended and laid awreath on behalf of all the brethren of St Michael's Lodge 8186.
