Have you heard the snoods?

An initiative started in Devon just four weeks ago to supply face masks with a masonic logo has raised its first £1000.

The Devonshire Masonic Charitable Foundation 2023 Festival Committee tasked Walker Lapthorne to gauge the market and raise funds for their MCF Festival.

This he managed to achieve in a very short period of time, sourcing face masks from a local supplier they were immediately advertised on the Devonshire Freemasons website and included a free MCF 2020 Diary with every order, the response was amazing with interest coming from far and wide.

Walker Lapthorne said: 'I have been astounded by just how far the message has reached in only 4 weeks. I have posted masks to all corners of Devon as well as country wide. I have even sent some to Gibraltar and South Africa. It just demonstrates the power of the internet and social media and the willingness of our members to help with this important charity.'

The success has led to the Committee increasing their offering by adding Masonic Snoods to the range. Walker added: 'we hope that these will appeal to those pursuing their exercise and outdoor activities throughout the coming winter, either way they will certainly enhance the appearance of the wearer and they make an ideal Christmas present.'
