Devonshire Freemason vaccination volunteers still coming forward

Thursday, 08 July 2021

The Marshalling Volunteers for Covid-19 vaccination centres are still coming forward in Devonshire, promoting the important role of Freemasonry in the community.

It has been great to see Freemasons and also their partners stepping up to volunteer along with local Brethren at the Vaccination Centre in Torquay.

Sally Hipwell and Jasmine Adroit alongside Georges Adroit, Keith Bower and his brother Colin Bower, both of True Love & Unity Lodge No. 248 in Brixham have all helped out. These along with over 20 other Freemasons and their families have been on duty since the beginning of the pandemic.

With more people returning to work, the pool of volunteers is diminishing but the Freemasons are still doing their part.
