Tank driving re

This year’s annual re of the 1991-1992 Board of Grand Stewards took place, with wives, on the north Norfolk coast, near Weybourne, at the Muckleburgh Military Collection. They were able to drive a 16-ton Abbot SPG at the site, run by board member Sir Michael Savory. He made the two-hour tour a rewarding experience, and brought to life many of the exhibits with his knowledge of the weaponry.

Among the exhibits is the ambulance driven by The Queen when she was in uniform during the war, a Harrier jump jet aircraft and a German V1 pilotless plane.
