Historic open day at Berwick
St David’s Lodge, No. 393, of Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, has had its best ever open day, with 165 people visiting the hall. The event was full of surprises as certificates, medals and other masonic artefacts were brought into the lodge by the public. Ian Fair (pictured) saw the name of his great, great grandfather Robert appear twice on the Past Masters board, having been in the chair in 1865 and 1868. Thanks go to Lady Zoreen Hill, the Berwick Civic Society and Jim Herbert of Berwick Time Lines.
