Bugle Major Cox of 4 Rifles gave Berkshire’s Vale of Loddon Chapter No. 8421, friends and families, an explanation of the historic development of the bugle within Light Infantry regiments at the Long Gallery, Englefield House.
Behind Bugle Major Cox is the Salamanca Band (6 Rifles) who entertained the guests, including the Grand Superintendent for Berkshire, Kenneth Benford, and his deputy, Gary Mitchell, and their ladies.
The event was organised by Ian Savage and Toby North. At each table a member of The Rifles Regiment was a guest of honour and £3,000 was raised for Help For Heroes.
