“Freemasonry Today and MQ Magazines combine”

January 2008 celebrates a new era in Masonic Publishing. Freemasonry Today, the Independent magazine for everyone interested in Freemasonry, and MQ Magazine will merge to become the official magazine circulating to the membership of the United Grand Lodge of England. The ‘new’ magazine will be titled Freemasonry Today with a circulation of over 240,000 mailed free to members at their home address. The 72-page A4 format will be full of interesting and informative news, views, letters, feature articles and much more from Masonic correspondents from around the world. It will be vital reading for Freemasons and their families with an estimated readership of over one million.

Michael Baigent, the international author, who has been the Editor of Freemasonry Today for the past seven years, will be Editor of the ‘new’ Freemasonry Today. Michael will be joined by John Jackson, Editor of MQ Magazine, as News Editor. Michael states: “As the ‘new’ official magazine of the United Grand Lodge of England, Freemasonry Today will entertain, inform, educate, instil and progressively renew a sense of pride and encourage commitment of Freemasons and beyond. We shall strengthen the profile and status of UGLE worldwide as the premier Grand Lodge and emphasise the style and design with a broad spectrum of content to attract a wide readership”.
